Clifford (Bud) G. Grimm
     
A funeral for Clifford (Bud) G. Grimm will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home at Lewiston. Burial will follow at Normal Hill Cemetery.
     
Grimm, a truck driver in the Northwest and California for much of his life, died of cancer Friday at Fresno, Calif., Community Hospital. He was 65.
     
He was born Oct. 15, 1924, on his family's farm near Orofino, the son of Glen and Edith Profitt Grimm. He grew up and attended school at Orofino and Lewiston, then worked as a truck driver until 1943.
     
From 1943 to 1947, Grimm served in the U.S. Army Air Forces in India and Alaska. He achieved the rank of corporal.
     
After leaving the service, Grimm returned to Lewiston and truck driving. He drove truck at Lewiston until 1962, then moved to Pasco, Wash., where he also was a truck driver. From 1968 until his retirement last year, Grimm was a truck driver at Mike Chiarito Trucking at Fresno.
     
On June 15, 1947, Grimm married Ruby Morefield at Clarkston. They divorced in 1956.
     
Survivors include Grimm's mother, Edith Hagen of Lewiston; a daughter, Patricia A. Zielinski of Fresno; a sister, Jewell Lutich of Lakeside, Ariz.; a half-sister, Carol Wise of Lewiston; and one grandson.
     
The family suggests memorials be given to the American Cancer Society, 1027 Ninth Ave., Lewiston 83501.
